I'f you're interested this is how I made the Disappearing 4 Patches.
Because I was dealing with large blocks, I made my cuts 2 inches from the center.
(If you were dealing with 5" squares, cut 1" from the center.)
Use a small cutting mat, so you can turn your squares without lifting them.
Lift the top center strip, and move it to the right center.
Move the right center to the bottom center, bottom center to the left center.
Then, left center to the top center.
This is learn as I go, so I learned to mark all the right edges, and the outer edges of the center strips.
I'm probably a dork, but it made my life easier.
I'll post the quilt top when I'm finished assembling it.
May your bobbins always be full,
G'day. I look forward to seeing the finished quilt. I do like the choice of colors. Take care. Liz...
