Strip Quilt.

We make a habit of eating out on Tuesdays and Thursdays; I each Tai Chi, then we grab a bite to eat, and in the evening we play either cards or dominoes with our friends.  It's a good routine.  One of the places we frequent is a "hamburger joint", with counter service.  You order at the counter, someone serves you, and your food comes on a plate and you have normal silverware.  There's a full menu, something for everyone.  The people who work there are great, and they greet us with, "Hi Bob and Janice."

One of the young women who works there is a single mom, and a great gal.  She played soccer as a youth and now her daughter does, too.  This quilt is for her daughter.  I was making all these other quilts for different kids and I thought I'd make one for her, too.  The back is kind of crazy;  I managed to work in two soccer prints.  I love the flower quilting on this one.  With so much white on the quilt top and back, it really pulls it all together.

May your bobbins always be full,
