My favorite method of making HST's is sewing all four sides, slicing, twice on the diagonals, this would produce 4.5" HST, too small, I thought; so I used the traditional method and matched my squares, marked the diagonal, stitched 1/4" on each side, and sliced on the marking. I did two rounds, so I only have two of each color way. It was easier for me, that way.
My cutting table and my design wall are my dining room table; here's all the HST's laid out and ready to stitch. Hopefully, I'll get a lot done, today. Tomorrow is our annual Davis family reunion at my Aunt Vicky's.
May your bobbins always be full,
Great quilt!
ReplyDeleteLooks like a makings of a great quilt! I use that method for HSTs too, so much easier than the other method and it's four out of one! =D
