City Quilter, NYC

I was in NYC, last week.  I had a really good time, and I made sure to make time for a visit to City Quilter.  I think they're the best quilting fabric store in NYC.

Isn't this a great quilt, using Glimma by Lotta Jansdotter?  It's for a class being taught on June 22nd.

This is Ralph.  He was just laying around.

The blurb on this beautiful quilt was hidden.

Another class being offered.  A Pinocchio Cloth Doll, class on July 8, my birthday.

The rest of the photos are from the Quilt Museum at City Quilter.  This time it was mini quilts by Deb Hyde, from West Bloomfield, Michigan.  Her work is fabulous; most of the pieces are 1" square, or smaller.

John in Sunshine and Shadow, 25.5x42", $3,000.

Torso in Turquoise, 33x33", $3750.

Sunshine and Shadow-Turquoise, 38x58", $5500.

Sunshine and Shadow- Yellow, 38x58" $4250.

The Striped Room, 60x38", $6000.

Bodyscape, 34x30", $3750.

There were more, but these were the only ones I shot.  I hope you love them like I do.
