2010 Quilt Finishes

These are the 24 quilts I finished this year.  Two are doll quilts, four were gifted to babies, most of the rest were gifted to family.  One sold, in my etsy shop, and the rest are waiting for homes.  It has been a very productive year.

Lumiere de Noel Plaid

Again, I've pleased with this finish.  We're invited to a wedding, in January, and this may go to the bride and groom.  The operative word is may; I have to talk to the brides' mother, my cousin, and see what she thinks.

Black, White and Plaid

I'm so happy with the way this finished-up.  The long-arm quilter did a swirly-thing that goes with how playful this quilt feels to me.  I really like the way the blue and white striped binding "pops" the whole quilt.

Reflection Quilt

I love how this Reflection Quilt using the Botany fabric line, finished.  The long arm quilter did a fabulous job, too.  My photos don't show the color of the quilting, she used a light pink, it was a great choice.

Zipper Quilt

The top is all Kaffee's shot cotton. I love how it turned out.  I initially had questions about the lightest blue and the darker green, but I'm glad I left them in,

Ole's Birthday Quilt.

Finished just in time to pop in the mail.  It's going to North Carolina for my son-in-law's birthday.

While I was planning and sewing this black and white quilt, Oden was staying with us.  He told his Mom, "Uncle Ole's getting the best quilt, EVER!"

I hope Ole likes it as much as Oden does.  The finished size is 55 x 43.
