When I put this quilt top together, in April, I tried to keep it really random. I actually had one small sack of 2.5 x 2.5" pieces and one of 5 x 2.5" strips; I pulled one from each sack and stitched them together, unless they were the same fabric. I kept stitching, randomly until the quilt top measured 52 x 64 inches.
The quilt back was put together with random large pieces of fabric that had green in common. The binding is Kona Herb, and a scrap of green print.
May your bobbins always be full,
It's beautiful!
ReplyDeleteVery nice!
ReplyDeleteI love your quilt. I am hoping to make a scrappy quilt soon too and i like the idea of doing it randomly.
