Ta Da Echo

Here's the Echo Patchwork Quilt Top, I've been working on.  I used about 1/2 of each FQ included in the Echo FQ bundle, and 16 different solids.  This is how I made this quilt top:
  • I cut six 5" square from each FB, and four 5" squares from each solid.
  • I then randomly paired and sew together one solid to one print.  I had lots of prints left over.
  • I decided on a 12x14 layout, and sorted the pairs and singles into 14 sets.  This was my way of keeping it random.
  • I then took each set and arranged the pieces into one long strip; making 14 rows.
  • I rearranged rows, until I had a pleasing layout.  Then sewed the rows together.

I really like how it turned out.  Now, I'm gonna work on the back.
May your bobbins always be full,
