I'm calling this the Sparkling Patchwork quilt top and it's complete! I made 9-patches and 4-patches from the scraps of my last 3 quilt tops, the two Best Friends QALs and the Froggy-Girl quilt top. I contemplated adding a small border but vetoed that thought. It measures 51" x 43".
I still have more scraps and I have ideas! Stay tuned
May your bobbins always be full,
I am doing a similar thing with 8" blocks formed into 4 patches. As a beginning quilter it's the first time I have done anything without a pattern. To set it on point how do you figure out how to cut the set in triangles and the corner triangles? So far I have just put all the blocks on my design board the way I want them. Some blocks have a scene. sullivanteri@gmail.com
