Lush Uptown Delectable Mountain

It took a little while to get back in the swing of things.  Yesterday, when I started on the binding for this quilt, I wasn't sure I really knew what I was doing!  Thank heavens it all came right back.

I love the quilt back, too.

The color of the quilting thread is Honey 32607, and the pattern is Old Oakky.  I love working with my long-arm quilter Janiel Miller, on this part of the process.

These are our two new dogs.  Ben, is a terrier mix, one year old, and Frisco is an American Cocker, seven years old.  They get along great.  It's the first time we've had two males.  These are dogs number 11 and 12 for us, in 50 years of marriage.
May your bobbins always be full,

  1. The quilt is beautiful! I love your choice of fabrics. The colors work really well with the design. Nice use of the fabric on the back, too.

  4. I have used layer cakes, also. I trim it to 8.5x10, so when stitched together, it is an 8.5" square. This is one of my Elementary Fiber Art most requested projects. The arrangements and layouts are endless.
